Girls Nite out + Happy Birthday Movie
Girls night out with kar boon, si ling, sheena and xiaoyi on thurs. Dinner at cine xin wang hk cafe... had bake rice but i still think the one at KimGary Vivo is nicer! Perhaps they were happier maintaining their r/s this way. Do couples like them exist? I believe there are...
Went to watch happy birthday yest with toot. Nice movie tho it was not the kind of happily ever after story. It was sweet how they remained in each other hearts though they were not officially together.

Spent the later half of my day shopping at bugis with meng today... only managed to finish combing bugis junction cos we spent like quite some time trying clothes and deciding what to buy... Anyway, we ended up like buying the same clothes... hee... 2 tees from LP zone and one puffy collar cotton top from a shop called Mugigae. Lost soul buried her memories on

I guess i'm not the only one to complain that the intersem hols is too short... not enough time to rest and do things which we wanted to do etc etc... What I wanted to do but didn’t 1. Dim Sum buffet with Nemos (couldn’t go cos of work… sighz) Though didn’t manage to fulfilled the above, hope there’s a chance to do so… being it during term time, sem break or next hols… hehe. What I rem doing during the hols 1) Work work work - from the 1st day of hols until the 1st working day of the new yr... makes me treasure the weekends/pub hols very much... hehe. Despite the complaints, it was good seeing my colleagues again and catching up with them. 2) Harmoc camp 3) Visited vivocity with meng & toot 4) Shopping with Linda 5) Met up with jc mates @ pitstop, bbq and to cycle (cancelled due to bad weather) 6) Swimming + Movie with Raymond n shu ying during xmas eve. It was really cold to swim on that day, but it was fun n cooling nonetheless. Watched curse of the golden flower… not the type of show I usually watch… a refreshing change but still something I dun mind not watching. n the ending makes me feel as if there’s no solid conclusion to the show. 7) Paris International buffet dinner with mummy on xmas day... *big big hole in my pocket* Dinner + Pub Hol + special xmas menu = most expensive price possible… My mum always wanted to give it a try but I wasn’t keen on it all along… 1st reason is of the price… on top of that, I dun take the better stuff/more ex stuff (oysters, seafood, sashimi) they offer… so it doesn’t make my money worth… sakura would be a much cheaper + worth it alternative. Last reason, I no longer enjoy stuffing myself to the max at buffets like I do last time. 8) Admiring fireworks to usher in the new year. 9) Visiting JB on new yr’s day and spent most of the time stuck in traffic jam. (But I like eating the food from their pasar malam… hehe) 10) Cycling with nemos at ECP (but only managed to cycle for 1 hr tho..) 11) Completed watching War & Beauty (mostly watched during wkends n pub hols... hehe)… A show with a sad ending... not only the show.. but it reflects some of the sad happenings in life too... I dun like shows with sad endings... i'm a sucker for happy endings... but nontheless it a great show to watch for the plot and the life lessons it brings if you ponder deeper... Now i'm done with the crazy bidding, i can finalise my timetable alr (not considering the occasional chem tutorials) It was hard to puttin this timetable together... and bidding was really crazy for me this sem... 456 points for drugs n soc and 700 points for organisation behavior (OB)... I'm fine with the amt of points parted for drugs... but as for OB? I'm seriously wondering if it's worth it... cos i'm doubting my ability to cope with this mod... but since i'm alr 1/2 way thru with my minor... i tot i shld just continue with it... worse come to worse... then drop it and waste 350 pts within the 1st 2 wks... cos i have a backup mod... wahahahz... but once i drop it... means i'll most prob got to give up the minor le... Anyway, another sem is starting liao... i'm not prepared both physically n mentally... haven rest enuff =( + yet to pack my stuff.... sem 2 always seems to be more tough... with chem mods which seems more tough... n more time commitment required for cca.... My timetable looks quite er xin right? Mon, wed and thurs are chem days... lolz... i'm gg to suffer from indigestion of chem facts. Lost soul buried her memories on

Enter the class early on tues morn only to have a quiz slapped on us.... supposed to wake us up and indeed it did... even though i read the readings, i kinda forgot the key words lor.... so sian...
1st lab for the sem was for analytical chem... did 2 expts which meant 2 lab reports to work for during the wkend =S. Managed to finish lab early at 2.30pm but dun think can be done so early for the next 2 ana labs.
Suddenly work seems to be piling up like a mountain... webcasts, tutorials and revision of what is tot in class (which usually starts only when exams are near =S) the funny thing is that on one hand, it seems like there isn't much to do... but there's this nagging feeling inside me that there's lots to work on.
Anyway, pilates class started on thurs. Joined with sherlyn, grace n shu ying... good exercise to destress... if not for the fact the instructor counteract it by stressing us to learn and remember the breathing techniques fast! Lots of stretching involved... my muscles were like aching so badly the next day. It will be good to go for a moonlight swim after that, the pilates can serve as 1 hr of warm up? But the pool is under renovation right now =( dunno wat they are renovating though.

Shopping
Had dinner at sketches... ordered their 'design a pasta', which you can customise by choosing your own pasta, topping, sauce and garnish... n the good thing is that you can choose more than one kind of pasta and topping too! In addition to the fact that it is one of the more affordable dishes over there too. Tcc was beside sketches. It looks so nice and cosy. Kinda had those open air feel but it's actually enclosed. Will be good to go over there for beverage and just slack.
Had dessert at this place called Ice Monster. It's located at Bencoolen Street... at the side facing Bullington Sqaure... so i guess it's not very eye catching... It's actually open since Aug 05 but i only knew about it today. Had their mango ice.... very nice! One scoop of mango sorbet on shaved ice, topped with lots of mango bits and evaporated milk... Hee... wanna try their strawberry mango next time, instead of mango sorbet, it'll be strawberry sorbet. It's ex though... Cost like $4.50 and $6.50 repsectively for the 2 different sizes, but the serving is quite larger, at least for the larger size? Think i'm sounding 'duh' here =P
More or less done with new yr shopping... got 2 skirts and 2 tops (bought on various occasions). I realise the latest colour in go into my wardroe is brown... been setting my eyes on brown tops, n skirts with tinges of brown... It seems like dresses are very popular nowadays too... seeing so many of them everywhere... having the urge to get one... but guess it'll spend most of it's time being hung on the wardrobe if i really buy... hee... saw a nice white dress with a simple black ribbon at one of the shops today... but can't fit in... =( Other than that, did see some which caught my eye, but not to the extend that i wanna buy them.

Hee... anyway, before work started piling, went shopping around for clothes on tues with sherlyn... supposed to be looking for a top for cny, but ended up buying another skirt instead! Spent the whole afternoon/evening and only managed to walk around far east and wisma... Had gelare waffles for the 1st time too... quite nice but definately too ex la... esp if there isn't any discount.
Yest was dinner gathering with some sec sch mates... I tot i was late but nobody turned up on time (which is a norm)... ended up at billy bombers for dinner... b4 moving over to shaw lido to chat with the girls before gg home... ended up talking abt plans to meet again for dinner sometime soon, chalet stayover to celebrate feb/mar birthdays, travelling to somewhere affordable during hols as well as further away after grad/ working (abit far fetched... hehe). One whole hols passed without meeting up and suddenly it seems like we'll be seeing each other often these 2 months... hopefully we'll really carry out what is planned bah.
Anyway, i realised that heeren had changed a little... haven been there for quite sometime... saw some nice clothes at one glimpse too... but no chance to go in and take a look... i wanna go heeren and shop! Maybe can find some nice clothes there... hehe.
